Starwood Hotels – Case Study

Starwood engaged Integrated Insight to assess the opportunity for revenue improvement at Starwood Hotels, through better organizational alignment. The effort included identifying and documenting the processes for driving revenue and  net income at Starwood Hotels Americas; providing recommendations  for quick win process improvements; and identifying themes  for potential revenue improvement that may  warrant further  study. The process included interviews with approximately  40 key constituents in Sales, RM and Finance; end to end analysis of sales, revenue management  and reporting  using a sample  of approximately  400 booked and  non-booked sales; process mapping  to identify areas for improvement; verification with key constituents; and identification of potential  areas for revenue improvement.
