Virginia Career Works – Case Study

The Virginia Public Workforce System was seeking to establish a consolidated and recognized brand and engaged design firm IDEAS. To support the effort, Integrated Insight conducted initial research among employers and consumers in search of work to understand awareness of and familiarity with the workforce system; resources used for job search and job placement; perceptions associated with the workforce system; and past usage of the workforce system. Subsequently, once name and logo concepts were developed for re-branding, a separate online study was completed to evaluate potential names for the workforce system; evaluate logo designs; determine the name/logo combination that is most appealing; determine what is most and least appealing about each; and determine any potential negative associations or ‘offensive’ aspects of the names/logos.
