Slide Vistana Signature Experiences - Optimizing Owner and Rental Inventory Revenue Management and Profit Optimization Vistana Signature Experiences (formerly Starwood Vacation Ownership) operates resort hotels and timeshares. The complexity of timeshare ownerships, coupled with numerous channels for rental inventory, required a fresh look at how revenue could be optimized. Integrated Insight developed scoring algorithms to segment owner and rental databases to target those most likely contribute to overall profit. Likewise, renters were profiled based on channel, length of stay, propensity to tour and/or buy, and other factors. The resulting segmentation and scoring provided the management team and sales force with a tool to help manage inventory to the best and highest use. The management team engaged Integrated Insight to identify strategic opportunities to maximize profitability in the short term, holistically leveraging all Resort offerings, and to position the Resort for sustainable long term growth. A strategic revenue assessment was conducted to identify opportunity for improvement and Integrated Insight worked with the Grand Traverse team to review weekly revenue management decisions for a period of several months.
Slide Walt Disney Parks and Resorts - Revenue Managing Across All Lines of Business Revenue Management and Profit Optimization The founders of Integrated Insight led the Revenue Management program at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, which encompassed over 25,000 hotel rooms and vacation club resorts, 4 cruise ships, over 80 table service and over 100 quick serve restaurants, millions of merchandise SKUS, arcades, and golf courses. Food and beverage and merchandise were $1B businesses in their own right. Successive revenue management systems were implemented to realize incremental opportunity while managing expensive capital costs. Included were Central Reservations, ticketing, hotel revenue management, table management, food and beverage and retail price optimization, and special events. Each line of business routinely realized 4% to 5% revenue growth year-over-year.
